CS

Le Plessis-Roinson, 03 November 2017

CS, a major player in the field of digital simulation, has developed and sells ProLB, a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software solution, based on the Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) and optimized for high performance computing (HPC).

ProLB is used by major actors from the ground transportation and aeronautics industries such as the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Airbus.
It offers aerodynamic and aeroacoustic modelling capabilities for weakly compressible flows with remarkable accuracy and competitive turaround times. This in turn allows engineers to, to optimize and shorten product development cycles while reducing costs.

To accelerate the commercialization of this innovative software, CS has signed a global distribution agreement with Powersys, a consultancy and distribution firm specializing in CAE software. Powersys is present in Europe and North America and also covers Asia. CS experts will train Powersys teams in order to allow them to provide support to customers. Powersys and CS will also work together to provide value-added services and to carry out simulation projects according to customer requirements.

“We are delighted with this distribution agreement with Powersys, which will give ProLB global reach,” says CS digital simulation business line director Ghassan Azar.

“Thanks to this collaboration with CS, we will expand our solutions to CFD” said Olivier TOURY, CEO of Powersys. “We are very pleased to deliver ProLB to our Market Place”.
