Pablo Zumel (M’06) received the first M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain, in 1999, the second M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris, Paris, France, in 2000, and the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from UPM in 2005. 

Since 2003, he has been with the Department of Electronic Technology, Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain, where he is currently an Associate Professor.
He has worked on more than 30 research projects with industry. His research interests include digital control in power electronics, modeling and control techniques and modular power converters.
