The objective of this training is to acquire practical abilities in the JMAG software and to illustrate how to use it for Noise & Vibration Analysis .
Instructor: Didier Zefack
Didier, expert of JMAG software, has more than 5 years’ experience in electric machine design using the FE method with JMAG. He has given numerous training courses and is also daily supporting JMAG users in electric machines design and other areas.
Public and technical background required
The training is recommended to everybody interested in practical & theoretical aspects of electromagnetically simulation.
Having previous experience in electromagnetically simulation is really useful.

Licensing & Computers
The University of Wuppertal will gently borrow a computer to each participant.
JMAG temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course.
The overall methodology is based on theoretical explanation on main concepts and details followed by practical implementation of the complete design procedure:
– 50% theoretical contents
– 50% practical exercises by means of guided JMAG simulations
A set of JMAG exercises already developed will be provided to the audience together with the rest of the course materials.
