CRADLE, a division of MSC Software, has been specializing since 1984 in the development of CFD software dedicated to the simulation of fluid flows and thermal transfers through scFLOW, scSTREAM and scPOST tools.
These tools enable multi-physics simulations to address the different needs of CFD simulation for the automotive, aerospace, naval, electronics, machinery, building and architecture sectors, etc.
scSTREAM tool is a solution to thermal problems related to electronics and power electronics. This code solves Navier Stokes equations using a Cartesian mesh. This technology provides a very high fidelity and computational accuracy, as well as optimized management of the memory used.
Whatever the application: Integrated Circuits (IC), enclosures, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), screen displays, electronic assemblies, power electronics… With scSTREAM, it is possible in one sole environment to understand any type of heat exchange but also to include physical phenomena such as condensation or humidity (on the surface but also in volume).
The training is free of charge, with a limited number of participants to guarantee the quality of the training: you can register by clicking on the register button in this page.
The training sessions will be live using the GoToMeeting platform, that does not require any local installation.
The registrants will be contacted one week before the training to install the scSTREAM software on their hardware for the hands-on sessions and to get the instructions to connect to the GoToMeeting platform.
After the sessions, the trainees will receive a 2-week trial license of scSTREAM on their hardware. During the trial period, scSTREAM engineers will support the trainees through regular contacts for Q&A and to discuss specific applications. Web-meetings could be organized on demand depending on availabilities.
Maxime Bommé Maxime is a pre-sales engineer at Hexagon based in Lyon, France. He has an engineering degree in material sciences from the Ecole Polytechnique de l’Université de Nantes, and he has started his career using different simulation software, for several industries. Then he decided to jump on the other side: software editors. For the last 5 years, he has helped customers to define why MSC Cradle solutions are the best tools for their needs. |

Didier Zefack Didier ZEFACK has more than 7 years of experiences as JMAG Simulation & Support Engineer at POWERSYS Solutions. He supported many companies and universities on different simulation projects. He received two Professional master’s degrees, first, in Computational Engineering for FEA simulations of phenomena governed by the fluid & solid mechanics. And secondly in Mechatronic for synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics and intelligent computer control in design and manufacture of products and processes. In addition to JMAG, he works also on Multiphysics CFD tools to provide a complete solution for electric motor design and optimization. |
